Euro 2020 continue with the last games in group stages. Germany and Hungary will play in the Group F match of this year’s European Championship and still, both teams have chances to move forward.
Germany will try to build on their good performance after a 4:2 win over Portugal and move forward in the tournament. This is one of the strongest groups where the world champion France plays. Joakim Loew’s players quickly recovered from the 1-0 loss to France, and the team regained a much-needed confidence and showed a very strong performance against the 2016 European champion. There are expected to be good performances again from Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimic, who impressed in the previous match, and upfront will mostly rely on Sane as Muller is injured and likely to be out until the quarter-finals if Germany takes a place at this stage of the tournament.
The Hungarians, on the other hand, did well, reaching a 1:1 draw in the second leg of Euro 2020 against France. It is a success for the team, as they have shown, that they can take valuable points and that is against the world champion. In this match, I expect a strong game of the Hungarians and it is likely that they will score a goal. Germany is strong on offense, but there are still gaps in the defense, so the Hungarians can take advantage and score. Coach Marco Rossi will lean on Schalke 04 striker Nikolic and Sanaj, with Peter Goulaschi again guarding the door after his good performances against France.
Probable composition of Germany: Neuer; Ginter, Sule, Rudiger; Kimmich, Gundogan, Kroos, Gosens; Havertz, Gnabry, Sane
Probable composition of Hungary: Gulacsi; Alexander, Orban, At. Szalai; Nagy; Nego, Kleinheisler, Schafer, Fiola; Nikolic, Sallai
Prediction – both teams to score – 2.11 from 22bet
